Surin's longest running Farang Pub & Restaurant

Surin is in the North East province of Isaan, halfway between Khorat and Ubon Ratchathani in Thailand.
It lies approx. 70 kms North of the Cambodian border in direct route to Angkor Wat.



The pub & restaurant is hosted by Martin, Sunee & Family.
The staff are mostly family members, with a few friends thrown in.

 
It is a relaxed, friendly place most of the time, but just like all pubs it has it's special atmosphere when the locals get going.
At this present moment in time, the Farang Connection boasts visitors from 56 different countries, most of them logged in the visitors book.
We are just approaching the 5,000 mark for Farang customers from 56 countries.
It must be said our breakfasts are famous throughout Thailand,
and if you want a really good 400,500 or even 600gm T-bone steak,
this is where you will find it.

You might even like to lounge upstairs, watching " The Last of the Summer Wine"  drinking a John Smiths smooth, or one of our range of seven ciders, while getting stuck into Cod,chips & mushy peas.

Or maybe you're American, and would like to see " Mash" or " Star Trek-Generations" while munching on a

1/2 lb Cheeseburger..

You might even be Deutsch. So Bratwuerst, Bittburger & an episode of " ello,ello" is on the cards.

Even Scandinavians. How about fresh Norwegian Salmon, scrambled eggs on Rye bread, washed down with a couple of bottles of Finlandia.

Sunee is a trained steak cook, and has worked some of the best establishments in Pattaya and Bangkok.
Martin on the other hand used to work on the other side of the Bar, so knows first hand what the customers want.
Ex-R.A.F, he had already seen quite a bit of the world before he came to settle in Thailand.
The Pub also boasts 20 different beers, from countries across Europe, as well as 9 different Thai brewed beers.
